Sri Ajanta Kumar Goswami is a graduate in Electrical Engineering and an MBA (Finance).

He started his professional career in the then Assam State Electricity Board and retired as Chief General Manager from Assam Power Distribution Company. He, however, in between was on deputation to Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd, a Central Public Sector of Govt. of India for five years for the states of Assam, Arunachal, and Nagaland.

An upright professional, having exposure on the wide range in the field of power distribution system, Sri Goswami is well known in his close circuit as an avid social worker and a doer for its upliftment and is a quite philanthropic.

Sri Ajanta hails from the prestigious Amranga Satra, Mirza, Guwahati.
