Sri Karuna Sarma is an electrical engineer by profession, served Assam Power Distribution Corporation Ltd and retired as Deputy General Manager after serving a long 34 years.

Sri Sarma, besides his knowledge in his prime domain, is known for his acumen, perseverance and managing issues well.

In furtherance, Sri Sarma is an active associate of Assam Science Society and a dedicated member of SAHAYIKA, a secondary level school for especially able children at Bamunimaidan, Guwahati.

Sri Sarma is passionate about birds and birds shooting through lens, is his hobby.
