Professor Prabin Kumar Bora is an educationist and a retired professor of IIT Guwahati.
He obtained his masters and PhD from the Indian Institute of Science , Bangalore.

He has guided a large number of Masters & PhD students n co authored many research papers.

He has been an inspiring academic administrator as a Departmental Head, Deans and the Deputy Director of IIT, Guwahati.

Professor Dr. Prabin was born in Dhekiakhowa, a seat of Vaishnava culture in Jorhat district of Assam.
